90 Calorie Protein Cakes

2 Cakes89 cals

Cake cravings be gone in 100 calories or less! These 90 Calorie Protein Cakes are easy to make with just a few ingredients, come in multiple flavors, and are one of my favorite low calorie ways to beat my sweet tooth.

For this one you’re going to need a mixing bowl and a couple baking dishes. I like using this ramekin set but use whatever you have on hand!

Add right into your mixing bowl 1 scoop of your choice flavor protein powder, 3 1/2 large egg whites, 2 tablespoons of unsweetened apple sauce, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 10-15 drops of some liquid sweetener.

Can’t find liquid sweetener? Use some honey or 1-2 packets of your choice sweetener!

Mix all of those ingredients together until your 90 calorie protein cakes mix is smooth.

Take out 2 1 cup ramekin dishes, optionally coat them with some non-stick cooking spray if you want them to pop out easy, and evenly distribute your mix into your dishes.

Pro tip? Change up your flavors by using various flavored protein powders, adding in things like cocoa powder to compliment a chocolate flavor, and so on.

Put your 90 calorie protein cakes into the oven and bake them on 375F/190C for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of one comes out clean. Remember that your baking time may change depending on how big or small you make them.

Don’t want multiple servings? Make it 1 serving by either cutting the ingredients in half or by using a larger baking dish.

Remove your 90 calorie protein cakes from the oven, let them cool, and top them! Some of my favorite toppings?

    Hello
If I use honey instead of stevia how much honey do I use?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Can the 90 calorie protein cake be microwaved instead of cooked in oven?

    Thanks!

I haven’t microwaved these ones – your best bet would be microwaving one of my other cake recipes and just eating half (or cutting the recipe in half)! 🙂
