5 Minute Mason Jar Cheesecakes

Today is the day where all you need is a couple minutes to make a delicious, protein cheesecake! These Mason Jar Cheesecakes are packed with protein, come in right around 300 calories, and come in unlimited variations!

Start this by taking out a bowl and some graham cracker crumbs. You can either make your own by simply crushing up some graham crackers or just buy them boxed (usually the same price).

I shoot for around 1 serving of crumbs per mason jar cheesecake which is 31 grams with what I’m using.

Add those in followed by 1 tablespoon of melted butter or coconut oil.

You’ll want 1 tablespoon of butter or coconut oil per 1 serving of crumbs.

Mix those together until clumpy.

Next, take out another bowl and add into that one 8 ounces of cream cheese, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 container of Greek yogurt, 1 1/2 scoops of protein powder, 1-2 tablespoons of a sweetener, a dash of salt, and a little lemon juice.

Mix those together until smooth.

Now that you have both your crust and mason jar cheesecake filling, we’re gonna add in some fruit. I like to layer mine but this part is completely up to you! I’m using strawberries and bananas today.

Take out whatever size mason jars you want (I like half pint for this recipe) and add in a little crust to the bottom. Follow your crust with your filling and then your fruit.

Repeat until all of your ingredients are used and dive right in!

You can also put them in the fridge for 10-20 minutes and they’ll thicken up even more like a protein cheesecake.

Mason Jar Cheesecake Variations

Don’t like fruit in your cheesecake? Don’t worry, there’s a couple ways to easily change up your mason jar cheesecake however you want.

Use different flavor protein powders and Greek yogurts, just make sure both of them compliment each other!

Add in other ingredients! If you want a peanut butter cheesecake, throw some peanut butter into your filling. If you want a chocolate cheesecake, throw in a couple tablespoons of cocoa powder.

You can pretty much add anything you want into your mason jar cheesecake and they’ll taste great. Have some fun and share your favorite variations below in the comments!

This recipe should easily make 3 mason jar cheesecakes. I also put below the macros with full fat, reduced fat, and fat free cream cheese.

I made this recipe with sugar-free pistashio pudding mix. I substituted fresh cherries cut in half. The result was the best cheesecake I’ve ever tasted! I didn’t have Ball Jars so I made them in coffee mugs. My wife and I both think this will be a big hit at our next New York City dinner party!!!! P.S. By that time, we’ll up-grade to the Ball Jars!!!

I’m currently pregnant and looking to make some meals… or snacks in advance. Do you think this would freeze well? Thanks!

I added sugar free cheesecake jello pudding mix…1serving per jar of cream mix. It only adds 25 calories and a few grams of carbs and sugar. Gave it that cheesecake kick! Love this recipe.
