Fix those red velvet cravings with some Protein Red Velvet Bites! This healthy no bake recipe takes just minutes to make with simple ingredients and tastes like the “real” thing!

Start this one by adding into a bowl big enough for all of your ingredients 1/4 cup of unsweetened milk substitute, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 2 1/2 scoops of a chocolate protein powder, 1 teaspoon of instant coffee, 2 tablespoons of coconut or oat flour, 1 serving of a red velvet cake mix, 4 tablespoons of a chocolate peanut butter, and a couple optional drops of some red food coloring to give them a dark red color.

Don’t want these bites to give you a boost? Use a decaffeinated instant coffee!

Mix all of those ingredients together until everything is incorporated, this should only take around a minute.

Take out a plate or something to put your protein bites on and shape them. However big or small you want them is completely up to you. Keep in mind that the macros for your protein red velvet bites will change depending on their size.

I also like to put my bites into the fridge for 20-30 minutes after shaping them, they thicken up and have more of a cookie texture.

Prevent your mix sticking to your hands while shaping them by either keeping your hands damp or by putting your mix into the fridge for 20 minutes prior to shaping them.

Did you know that cocoa powder has no sugar in it and packs 2g of fiber in every tablespoon?

Pro tip? Double or triple the recipe to make enough to satisfy your cravings for the whole week.

Wash these bites down with a Red Velvet Protein Shake!
