Ingredients

  • 12 Whole Eggs
  • Salt

Instructions

Electric Kettle

  • Add however many eggs you want or that you can fit into your kettle.
  • Put enough water into your kettle so that it sits around 1’’ over your eggs.
  • Keep your lid open and turn your kettle on.
  • Close your lid once it comes to a boil and turn your kettle off.
  • Let your eggs sit in the kettle for 10-12 minutes.
  • Throw them in some ice water for at least 10 minutes.

Slow Cooker

  • Add however many eggs you want into your slow cooker.
  • Fill it with enough water so that it covers your eggs.
  • Sprinkle in some salt.
  • Turn your slow cooker on high for 2 1/2 hours (this could take up to 3 hours if you’re really filling it).
  • Throw them in some ice water for at least 10 minutes.

Microwave

  • Add a couple to a microwave safe bowl.
  • Fill it with enough water so that it covers your eggs.
  • Add in a little salt.
  • Microwave for 5-7 minutes depending on how powerful your microwave is.
  • Throw them in some ice water for at least 10 minutes.
  • Tips? The more powerful your microwave is, the more likely they'll explode if you microwave them for too long (ours is 900 watts).
Try this with 1 egg at first until you figure out your microwave time.
Prick or poke the tip of your eggs to remove trapped air from them which can also help prevent them from exploding.
    Don't forget to add SALT!

Oven

  • Put your eggs in a muffin or cupcake pan (a regular pan will work too).
  • Bake on 325F/162C for 30 minutes.
  • Throw them in some ice water for at least 10 minutes.
