- 2 Medium Banana Riper the better!
- 2 Ounces Milk Substitute or Milk (Look for higher protein)
- 2 Tablespoons Nut Butter
- 1 Scoop Protein Powder Vanilla or Chocolate
- ¼ Teaspoon Xanthan Gum *Optional to help guarantee texture
- 2 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder *Optional for a chocolate variation
Peel and cut your Bananas up into slivers
Put them into a freezer safe container and freeze them until frozen
Add your frozen slivers and the rest of your ingredients into either a food processor or blender
A mixing bowl with good hand blender will work great too!
Process or blend until your ice cream is smooth, scraping down the sides as needed
Eat it as-is if you like softer ice cream, or freeze it for 20-30 minutes until you reach your desired consistency
