Microwave Bread Pudding with Protein

Materials

  • 2 Pieces Bread I like Hawaiian Rolls
  • ½ Cup Milk or Milk Substitute
  • 1 Scoop Protein Powder I like Vanilla but use any other good tasting flavor!
  • 1 Tablespoon Sweetener You can remove this if your Protein Powder is sweet enough
  • ½ Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Pinch Salt
  • 1 Large Whole Egg
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter Melted
  • Nutmeg For topping

Instructions

  • Take out a small mixing bowl or shaker bottle (easiest)
  • Mix or shake together your Milk and Protein Powder
  • Add in the rest of your ingredients aside from your Bread
  • Mix or shake them together
  • Cut up your Bread into small pieces
  • Add your Bread pieces into at least a 1 1/2 cup microwave safe bowl
  • Pour in your mix and press down your Bread pieces to fully submerge them
  • Top it with a little Nutmeg
  • Microwave your bowl for around 1 1/2-2 minutes depending on how powerful your microwave is
  • Eat it as is or put it in the fridge to cooldown (it tastes great cold!)

Since this recipe is best eaten cold (easily stored) and extremely dense/filling, I list it as 2 servings/portions.
You can also drop the fat to 16g in the whole recipe if you half the butter in the recipe (still tastes great!).
