It’s breakfast time! Today we’re starting the day with some of the most delicious and Healthy Scrambled Eggs with Cottage Cheese that I’ve ever made. All you really need for this high protein breakfast recipe is 2 ingredients so let’s jump right into it!

We’re going to start this one by adding into either a mixing bowl, blender, or food processor 4 large whole eggs, 1/2 cup of cottage cheese, a little salt, and a little pepper.

Use whatever type of cottage cheese works with your macros. Full, reduced, or fat free cottage cheese all work great (macros for all of them below). I went with fat free today.

Before anyone asks…NO, you can’t taste the cottage cheese at all.

Use the eggs and cottage cheese as your base for this healthy scrambled eggs with cottage cheese and build off it to fit your macros or cravings.

Unlimited variations! Add in things like seasonings, garlic powder, and so on to switch it up when you get bored.

Go ahead and mix everything together.

Smooth Scrambled Eggs

If you don’t like the texture or sight of cottage cheese then this is the part where you’d blend or process until smooth.

Either way tastes great, I personally don’t have a preference.

Next, take out a stovetop pan or griddle and turn your burner on medium heat.

Add into your pan or griddle around 1/2 tablespoon of oil, butter, or some non-stick cooking spray.

Once your pan or griddle heats up you can pour your mix in and cook your eggs until your desired consistency.

Pro tip? Keep your eggs moving as they cook for the best scrambled eggs with cottage cheese result.

While your eggs are cooking you can also add in anything else into your mix like another cheese, chopped up vegetables, ground beef or turkey, bacon bits, or one of my favorites? Chopped up chives!

There’s always tips for anything so here’s a couple of our favorite ones for this recipe. If you have any tips of your own, share them below!

Cottage Cheese Scrambled Tips

  1. You could simply just add some scrambled eggs to your cottage cheese without cooking everything together (we do this here) but in my opinion it’s way better cooked together.
  2. Add your eggs into a wrap or some bagel thins for a high protein breakfast wrap or sandwich.
  3. Reheat it in the microwave :30 seconds at a time.

That’s it, your scrambled eggs with cottage cheese are done! I topped mine with a little chili sauce.

Cottage cheese seems to be about the only thing that’s gone down in price here, it’s now less than $2.00 for a 24 ounce container! How much is a 24 ounce container where you live?

I love these scrambled eggs. Just had them. I put some oregano in them, cooked them, then topped with sharp cheddar cheese. Blended them for smooth texture.
