Gingerbread Cookie Protein Shake

Stick to your diet and keep your goals alive this holiday season with a Gingerbread Cookie Protein Shake! This seasonal drink is packed with protein and guaranteed to keep you in the holiday spirit.

All you need for this one is your shaker bottle and a few seasonal ingredients. Alternatively you can also make this in your blender if you want a “thicker” shaker.

Add right into your shaker bottle 1 cup of unsweetened milk substitute, 1 tablespoon of sugar free syrup, 1/4 teaspoon of butter extract, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 3 tablespoons of pasteurized liquid egg whites, 1/8 teaspoon of ground allspice, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1 packet of your choice sweetener, 1 scoop of a vanilla protein powder, 1 container of a vanilla Greek yogurt, 1/2 sheet of a crushed up low fat graham cracker, and 1/2 cup of ice.

Did you know that liquid egg whites are perfectly safe to drink as long as they’re been through the pasteurization process? Pasteurization is the process of heating a food or liquid to kill anything harmful.

Shake everything together until you have your gingerbread cookie protein shake.

Pour your shake into your favorite glass and top it! I topped mine with some fat free whipped cream, ground cinnamon, and crushed up graham cracker. Let us know what you top your gingerbread cookie protein shake with in the comments below.

Delicious! If you drink this right after making it, I think it’s best w/o the ice, in fact maybe better period if you let it sit in the refrigerator. Other than that, I love it.
