Proteins bars and mason jars! Future song title? No. Easy protein recipes in 5 minutes or less? YES! If you’re looking for a protein parfait, trail mix, or dirt pudding then these Protein Mason Jar recipes are for you! Delicious, travel friendly, and quick to make.

For these recipes you’ll need at least half pint mason jars and your favorite protein bar.

Protein Parfait

Three ingredients that you’re gonna layer in is all you need for this delicious protein parfait.

For the first layer, start with Greek yogurt (whatever flavor you want). On top of that a fruit layer and then a third of your favorite protein bar broken up.

Repeat those steps until you have however many layers you want.

The biggest thing with this protein parfait is that you just want to make sure the flavors of the yogurt, fruit, and protein bar all compliment each other.

When you get bored with this protein mason jar, change up the flavors!

Protein Trail Mix

I can’t be the only one who loves trail mix here so I had to put my own spin on it!

Add into your mason jar 1 ounce of cashews, 1/2 ounce of almonds, 1/2 ounce sunflower kernels, 1/2 ounce dried mango, a couple yogurt raisins, and a broken up protein bar.

Cover it and shake it to mix your protein mason jar up.

The best thing about making your own trail mix is that you can change it up to suit your macros. Use any kind of dried fruit, seed, or nut you want.

Protein Dirt Pudding

Ready to bring your childhood back with this protein mason jar? Pudding and gummy worms are the two main ingredients here.

Add 1/2 cup of cottage cheese, 2 tablespoons of cream cheese, 1 ounce of milk, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 1 serving of chocolate sugar free instant pudding, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and an optional 1 teaspoon of sweetener into either a food processor or blender.

Process or blend those up until smooth.

Add that mix into a mason jar, top your pudding with your favorite crushed up protein bar (crush it up good as this is your “dirt”!), and top it with a gummy worm.

How many of you guys have actually heard of dirt pudding before? Let me know in the comments below.

If you haven’t tried it, it’s delicious!

Outside of being delicious, cottage cheese has casein in it which is a slow digesting protein that’ll keep you full longer.

You’ve got dessert covered now how about some Mason Jar Omelettes next?
