Craving pie? Reinvent those cravings into a Banana Cream Protein Shake! This high protein recipe is absolutely delicious, packed with flavor, simple to make, and guaranteed to fill you up.
Start this one with a blender. Using a blender here is going to help get the cottage cheese in the recipe smooth. If you don’t have a blender, here’s a link the one we’ve been using!
Add right into your blender 1 cup of unsweetened milk substitute, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1/2 cup of fat free cottage cheese, 1 medium banana, 1 scoop of a vanilla protein powder, 1 serving of instant sugar free fat free banana cream pudding, and 1 cup of ice.
The cottage cheese is going to add casein protein to the recipe and help thicken up your shake, you can’t taste it at all.
Blend everything together until you have your banana cream protein shake.
Want more flavor? Use a frozen banana and less or no ice at all!
Pour your shake into your favorite glass and optionally top it. I topped mine with some crushed up graham crackers and ground cinnamon today. Let us know what you top yours with in the comments below!
Did you know that the correct way to peel a banana is to pinch the “bottom” of it and peel?
