Chocolate Cherry Pie Protein Oatmeal

Satisfy those pie cravings and start your morning with a cherry on top! This Chocolate Cherry Pie Protein Oatmeal is packed with all your pie flavors, super filling, and one of my favorite healthy breakfast recipes.

The first thing you need to do is to take out a microwavable safe bowl. If you have time, you could also make this on the stovetop…the choice is yours!

Add right into your bowl 1/2 cup of rolled oats and 3/4 cup of unsweetened milk substitute.

Put your bowl into the microwave for around 2 minutes. Depending on how powerful you microwave is this could take more or less time. Keep an eye on your chocolate cherry pie protein oatmeal and remember how long it takes for next time!

Continue by adding in 1 scoop of a chocolate protein powder, 1 teaspoon of a light brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon , 1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, and 1/3 cup of no sugar added cherry pie filling.

Mix all of those ingredients together until you have your chocolate cherry pie protein oatmeal.

Pro tip? Make sure to add all of these ingredients in while your oatmeal is still hot.

Did you know that cocoa powder is a great cheap source of fiber with 2 grams for every 10 calories?

That’s it, you’re done! I topped my oatmeal with some whipped cream and a couple cherries.

  • ½ Cup Rolled Oats
  • 6 Ounces Milk Substitute - or Milk
  • 1 Teaspoon Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
  • 1 Scoop Protein Powder - Chocolate
  • Cup Pie Filling - No Sugar Added Cherry
