Hit those cravings with an easy to make Chocolate Pistachio Protein Shake! This healthy drink is filling, made with just a few ingredients, and packed with both casein and whey protein.
To get your shake nice and smooth you’re going to need a blender for this one. If you don’t have a blender, here’s a link to the one I’ve been using lately and highly recommend.
Add right into your blender 3/4 cup of unsweetened milk substitute, 1/4 teaspoon of peppermint extract, 1/2 cup of cottage cheese, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 4 tablespoons of flaxseed meal, 1 scoop of a chocolate protein powder, 1 serving of instant sugar free fat free pistachio pudding, 10 pistachios, and 1 cup of ice.
Did you know that both cocoa powder and flaxseed meal are great cheap sources of fiber?
Blend everything together until you have your chocolate pistachio protein shake!
Don’t like the taste cottage cheese? Don’t worry! Cottage cheese has practically no taste at all when combined with other ingredients and is packed with casein protein.

Make sure to use peppermint extract and not mint extract as mint is more of a spearmint flavor.
