Easy Baked Jalapeno Popper GRILLED Cheese!

2 Easy Grilled Cheese Recipes
Written by Derek Howes

Alright so I’ve seriously been craving some GRILLED CHEESES like no other. Today we’re gonna fix that with the help of some Dave’s Killer Bread Thin Sliced! We’re also gonna keep them under 300 calories (so I can have 2) and we’re gonna make one on the stove top and one in the oven!

First we use a pan. Start off with your bread, for this one I’m gonna be using Dave’s Killer Bread Thin Sliced White Bread Done RIGHT which is only 80 calories a slice! Take each piece and lightly coat one side with some mayonnaise, you shouldn’t need more than a teaspoon or two. Place those mayonnaise side down and on the dry side of one piece place 2 slices of your choice cheese, some spinach, and a couple slices of deli ham. Take that piece and place the coated side into a pan on low-medium heat for a couple minutes. Once your cheese starts to melt add on another slice of your choice cheese, close it with your other piece, and flip it. Continue cooking for another couple minutes and your Ham & Grilled Cheese is done!

Next we’re gonna use the oven or if you don’t have an oven, a toaster oven will work. Start off with a bowl and mix together 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, 1 ounce of a reduced fat cream cheese, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic seasoning, and some sliced jalapenos. It should turn out pretty thick. Before you put that anywhere take out out a baking sheet and some bread, for this one I’m using Dave’s Killer Bread Thin Sliced Good Seed Bread. Coat one side of each piece with some mayonnaise then spread that mixture you just made onto one of your slices of bread and top it with a piece of cheddar cheese. Close it off with your other piece mayonnaise side up and bake it on 450F/232C for around 5-7 minutes, flip it over, and bake it for another 5-7 minutes. Your Jalapeno Popper Grilled Cheese is ready to eat!

Now I have some grilled cheese sandwiches to devour so if you wanna check out Dave’s Killer Bread (especially this thin sliced bread if you’re watching your carbs) you can do so using the link below. You should be able to find all of these at your local grocery store!
