One healthy chocolate cake to rule them all! This Healthy Triple Chocolate Avocado Cake recipe is easy to make with just a few ingredients, absolutely delicious, AND packed protein!

All you need for this one is a bowl big enough to add all of your ingredients into and a hand mixer.

Add into your bowl 1 1/2 cups of whole wheat pastry flour, 10 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 3 scoops of protein powder, 2 teaspoons of ground coffee, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 3 teaspoons of vanilla extract, 1 cup of unsweetened milk substitute, 3 ounces of water, 1 container of vanilla Greek yogurt, 2 tablespoons of melted dark chocolate chips, and 1 ripe avocado.

Why avocado? Avocado is packed with healthy fats and does a great job at keeping baked goods moist.

Use a complimenting protein powder flavor. In my experience, anything chocolate or vanilla flavored works great for this chocolate avocado cake recipe.

Add in some sugar or sweetener if you want to sweeten this chocolate avocado cake up even more.

Using your hand mixer, mix everything together until smooth. If your avocado was ripe enough, it should easily mix in.

Next, take out something to bake your cake in and coat it with some non-stick cooking spray.

Baked Chocolate Avocado Cake

Pour your mix into your pan or dish and throw it into the oven on 350F/176C for around 25-30 minutes. Once it rises completely, it’s done. Still not sure? Do the toothpick test!

What’s the toothpick test? This is the test where you stick a toothpick into the center of your baked good and if it comes out clean, it’s done.

After 25-30 minutes, remove it from the oven. Let your cake cool and top your chocolate avocado cake with some Greek yogurt or protein frosting!

Worried this cake tastes like avocado? Don’t be! Avocado is easily masked with all of the other flavors in this recipe.
