Strawberry Banana Protein Shake

Refresh your cravings this week with a healthy Strawberry Banana Protein Shake! This high protein smoothie is made with simple ingredients, filling, and guaranteed to satisfy even the biggest sweet tooth.

To get your shake smooth you’re going to need a blender to make this one. If you don’t have a blender, here’s a link to the one we’ve been using for years and recommend.

Add right into your blender 1 cup of strawberries, 1 cup of unsweetened vanilla milk substitute, 1 medium banana, 1 1/2 scoops of your choice flavor protein powder (vanilla, banana, or strawberry work great!), and 1 cup of ice.

You could also use a natural flavored protein powder but you may want to add in a little sweetener, honey, or vanilla extract with it!

Pro tip? Use frozen fruit and less or no ice at all for even more flavor!

Blend everything together until you have your strawberry banana protein shake.

Pour your shake into your favorite glass and optionally top it. Some of my favorite things to top this with? Fat free whipped cream and fresh sliced fruit! Let us know what you top yours with in the comments below.

If you’d like your shake to be even thicker you can add in either some Greek yogurt or cottage cheese (adds more protein to the recipe) or 1/4 teaspoon of some xanthan gum.

Pair this with some Strawberry Shortcake Protein Cupcakes!

This smoothie was delicious. I over blended it the first time I made it and it was to smooth and fine. Just some advice, try not to blend it too much or else it wonโ€™t taste as good. Blend for 12-15 seconds max

This is the best way to make protein powder more palatable! I use strawberry flavored pea protein isolate and it comes out beautiful. Thanks for the recipe!
