Drink your unhealthy chocolate cravings away with a healthy Triple Chocolate Protein Shake! This bodybuilding drink is absolutely delicious and packed with both whey AND casein!
To get your shake smooth you’re going to need a blender for this one. If you don’t have a blender, here’s a link to the one we’ve been using lately and highly recommend.
Add right into your blender 1 cup of unsweetened vanilla milk substitute, 6 tablespoons of pasteurized liquid egg whites, 1/2 cup of fat free cottage cheese, 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 1 scoop of a chocolate protein powder, 1 or 2 squirts of a sugar free chocolate syrup, and 1 cup of ice.
Blend all of those ingredients together until you have your triple chocolate protein shake.
Don’t like cottage cheese? Don’t worry! You can’t taste the cottage cheese at all, it adds a ton of casein protein to the recipe, and it helps thickens up the shake!
Pour your shake into your favorite glass and optionally top it with some cocoa powder or anything else you want. Let us know some of your favorite healthier drink toppings in the comments below.

I just enjoyed this shake. I wouldn’t change a thing about it. I will be making one for my husband. Oh, I just took out some of your sweet potato and tuna cakes from the oven.Very easy recipe. Tasty and cost effective too. Thanks for the awesome recipes!
Thank you Haleema! I’m so glad it turned out to your liking. 🙂
If I should omit the protein powder and chocolate syrup how much protein would be in the shake and how much carbs would there be
Hi Grant! This really depends on the ingredients you use though I would say around 25-30g protein and 17-18g carbs still.
Hey Derek – love your website. I have been experimenting trying to make a mayonnaise recipe with greek yogurt. Have any tips?
