Keep your macros intact this birthday season with our quick Birthday Cake Protein Shake! This high protein smoothie recipe is packed with birthday flavor and super easy to make with just a few ingredients.
We’re using rolled oats for this one and for that reason alone you’re going to need a blender to fully incorporate them. If you want a good blender, here’s a link to the one I’ve been using and recommend.
Add right into your blender 3/4 cup of unsweetened milk substitute, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1/2 tablespoon of honey, 1/4 cup of rolled oats, 1 tablespoon of coconut flour, 2 tablespoon of powdered peanut butter, 1 scoop of a vanilla protein powder, 1/2 container of a vanilla Greek yogurt, and 1/2 cup of ice.
Did you know that powdered peanut butter is cheap, tastes great, low in fat, and packed with protein?
Blend all of those birthday cake protein shake ingredients together for around a minute.
Pour your shake into your favorite glass and top it! I kept it festive with some low fat whipped cream and rainbow sprinkles. Let us know what you top your birthday cake protein shake with in the comments below!
