Save your diet and keep your red velvet cake with this rich, filling, and delicious Red Velvet Protein Overnight Oats! The best part? This high protein overnight oatmeal recipe only takes a few ingredients to make.

If you like anything red velvet then you’re going to love this one!

All you need for this one? A mixing bowl and some optional storage containers like these half pint mason jars which are great for overnight oats!

Add right into a mixing bowl 1/2 cup of rolled oats, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 1 1/2 scoops of a chocolate protein powder, 1/2 serving of a red velvet cake mix, 1/2 container of a vanilla Greek yogurt, 1/2 cup unsweetened milk substitute, and a couple optional drops of some red food coloring.

Change up the flavor of your red velvet protein overnight oats by changing up the flavor(s) of your protein powder, Greek yogurt, and/or milk substitute!

Mix all of those ingredients.

Cover up your red velvet protein overnight oats and put it into the fridge overnight…or a few hours if you can’t wait!

After it cools it’ll thicken up and taste just like a crossbreed between red velvet cake and red velvet ice cream.

Pro tip? Top it with whatever you want! I went with some red velvet cake sprinkles today. Let me know how you top yours in the comments below.

In the text recipe description, you have 1 serving of cake mix, but in the video you use half a serving of cake mix. Which is it?

Under the “Here’s the recipe” section, the protein powder isn’t listed.
