The seasonal cravings are here and that means apple pie is back on the menu! Satisfy those cravings with this easy to make, delicious, and healthy Apple Pie Protein Oatmeal recipe. If you like apples, pie, oatmeal, cake, or delicious breakfast food then you’re going to love this one.

Start this one by deciding how you’d like to prep your protein oatmeal. I’m using the microwave today but if you’d like to make it on the stovetop you can do that too!

Add into a microwavable bowl 1/2 cup of rolled oats, 1/3 cup of unsweetened milk substitute, and 2/3 cup of water.

Give ingredients a quick mix and microwave them for around 2 minutes depending on how powerful your microwave is. Make sure to keep an eye on it and remember how long it takes to microwave for next time!

Right after the microwave, while still hot, add in 1 scoop of a vanilla protein powder, 1/8 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 10-15 drops of a liquid sweetener or 1-2 packets of a dry sweetener, and 1/4 cup of unsweetened apple sauce

Want more protein? Add in another 1/2 scoop of protein powder!

Mix all of those ingredients until everything for your apple pie protein oatmeal is well incorporated.

Last, chop up and add in 1 medium apple (your choice).

Did you know that leaving the skin on your apple will add even more fiber to this recipe/your diet?

Top or add into your oatmeal some sugar free syrup, whipped cream or Greek yogurt, other fresh fruit, nuts, and so on. Let us know some of the creative ways you make this in the comments below.
