Curb your thin mint cookie cravings with a Chocolate Mint Protein Shake! This healthy chocolate smoothie recipe is easy to make with simple ingredients and packed with both whey and casein!
Add right into a blender 3/4 cup of unsweetened chocolate milk substitute, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 1 serving of instant sugar free fat free chocolate or chocolate fudge pudding, 1 scoop of a chocolate protein powder, 1/2 teaspoon of peppermint extract, 1/2 cup of fat free cottage cheese, and 1 cup of ice.
Make sure you get peppermint extract and not mint as mint is more of a spearmint flavor.
Blend everything together until you have your liquid version of a thin mint!
Don’t have a blender? Here’s a link to the one I’ve been using for years and recommend.
Did you know that cocoa powder has no sugar in it and 2 grams of fiber for every 10 calories?
Pour your chocolate mint protein shake into your favorite glass and optionally top it! I topped mine today with some sugar free chocolate syrup and cocoa powder. Let us know what you top your shake with in the comments below.
