Bring back those creamsicle childhood memories with an Orange Cream Protein Shake! This healthier alternative is absolutely delicious, made with simple ingredients, and packed with diet friendly macros.
To get your shake smooth you’re going to need a blender to make this recipe. If you don’t have a blender, here’s a link to the one I’ve been using for years and recommend.
Add right into the blender 1 cup of unsweetened vanilla milk substitute, 1 container of a fat free orange cream Greek yogurt, 1/4 cup of rolled oats, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 scoop of a vanilla protein powder, 1/2 tablespoon of coconut oil, 1 naval orange, and 1 cup of ice.
Flavor tip? Use frozen orange slices and cut down on the ice!
Blend everything together until you have your protein shake!
Pour your shake into a glass and optionally top it. I topped mine with some whipped cream and crushed up graham crackers today. Let us know what you top yours with in the comments below.
Diet tip? Cut down on the sugar by using the lowest sugar Greek yogurt you can find.
Pair this shake with an Orange Cream Protein Cake for even more protein!
