PROTEIN Gingerbread Recipe (Healthy + Low Fat)

If you like gingerbread but have always wanted a healthier alternative then you’re going to love this delicious and low fat Protein Gingerbread recipe!

Here is the recipe:

  • 1 1/2 Cups (120g) Rolled Oats
  • 1/2 Cup (122g) Unsweetened Apple Sauce
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
  • 3/4 Teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Ground Allspice
  • 5.3 Ounces (150g) Fat Free Vanilla Greek Yogurt
  • 1/2 Tablespoon (10.5g) Honey
  • 2 Tablespoons Molasses
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Teaspoons (8g) Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 Large Egg White
  • 1/2 Banana
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 4 1/2 Scoops (168g) Vanilla Ice Cream Healthy ’N Fit Protein Powder

Calories in the WHOLE recipe:

  • Carbs: 179g
  • Fiber: 16g
  • Sugar: 80g
  • Protein: 180g

  • Calories: 165
  • Fat: 2.4g
  • Saturated Fat: .5g
  • Sodium: 109.6mg
  • Carbs: 17.9g
  • Fiber: 1.6g
  • Sugar: 8g
  • Protein: 18g

Take out either a food processor or blender and add all of your ingredients into it. Coat a bread pan with some non-stick cooking spray and then add your mix into it. Bake on 350°F/176°C for 40:00-45:00.


  • Add nuts, chocolate chips, or anything else you can think of into your mix before you bake it!
  • Top your pieces with some whipped cream, Greek yogurt, or cream cheese!
  • To check if your bread is done simply insert a toothpick into the middle of it and if it comes out dry then your bread is done!
