Beat the sweet tooth and get more fiber in your diet with this Blackberry Vanilla Protein Shake recipe! Easy to make, packed with flavor, and made with just a few common ingredients.
For this recipe you’re going to need a blender to get all of your ingredients smooth. If you don’t have a blender, I link to the one I’ve been using in the recipe card below.
Add right into your blender 1 cup of unsweetened vanilla milk substitute, 1 scoop of a vanilla or natural protein powder, 6 ounces of fat free vanilla Greek yogurt, 2 tablespoons of flaxseed meal, 1 cup of fresh or frozen blackberries, and 1 cup of ice.
Using a natural protein powder? Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract in!
Did you know that flaxseed meal is a great source of healthy fats and fiber with 5 grams for every 60 calories?
Blend all of those ingredients together until you have your blackberry vanilla protein shake.
Pour your shake into your favorite glass and optionally top it with your favorite healthy toppings! Let us know what you top yours with in the comments below.
Pro tip? Give this shake more flavor by using less or no ice at all if you’re using frozen blackberries instead of fresh.
Pair this shake with some Blackberry Banana Protein Oatmeal for even more protein in your breakfast.
