1 Minute Low Carb Mason Jar Omelettes

1 Jar199 cals

You can’t do much with a mason jar outside of storing things and making mug cakes (unless you’re a magician). Today, we change that with this super easy AND quick Mason Jar Omelette recipe!

You’ll want to start this one by picking your mason jar size. For a 2 egg omelette (depending on how many ingredients you add in) you’ll want at least a half pint jar.

Want more or less eggs? Use a jar big enough that your mix doesn’t come more than 3/4 of the way up.

To make your omelette all you have to do is coat it with some non-stick cooking spray, add your eggs in, a little black pepper, some bacon bits, whatever chopped up vegetables you want (I like bell peppers and onion), and 1/8 cup of your favorite cheese!

Shake it (easy, right?), take the cover off, and throw it in the microwave for around 1-2 minutes. That’s it, your mason jar omelette is done!

If it starts to overflow then your jar is too small! Stop your microwave for a couple seconds and once it settles you can continue microwaving your omelette until it looks cooked.

There you go…a super easy mason jar omelette that you can fix up to your liking within minutes. Throw it on a plate or just eat right out of the jar.

Guess what? It tastes just as good cold! This means you could make it the night before and take it with you even if you don’t have access to heating it up.

Let us know what you add into your mason jars below! If you think outside the box for these omelettes, your options will be endless. Use different vegetables, meats, spices, herbs, and much more.

Have you made the jars on Sunday and eaten them for breakfast during the week? I don’t see a reference to how long the raw jars are good for.

The most I’ve done is prep it the night before. Uncooked? I’d go 2-3 days myself.

eggcellent Idea!!! Can you accomplish the same result using all the same ingredients but using egg whites only or just egg (liquid vegan eggs)?
