Are you ready for a macro balanced breakfast that’s packed with flavor? This Blackberry Banana Protein Oatmeal recipe is super easy to make with simple ingredients, just sweet enough, AND high in fiber! If you’re looking for a delicious way to start your morning then this one’s for you.
For this one all you’re going to need is a microwave safe bowl, something to mix your ingredients with, and a microwave!
Add into your bowl 1/2 cup of rolled oats, 1/2 cup of unsweetened milk substitute, and 1/4 cup of water.
Microwave your oatmeal for around 2 minutes. Depending on how powerful your microwave is this may take more or less time so keep an eye on it!
Add in the rest of you ingredients while your oatmeal is still hot starting with 1 scoop of a vanilla protein powder, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/2 of a banana, 2 tablespoons of flaxseed meal, and 1 serving of a sugar free fat free instant banana cream, vanilla, or white chocolate pudding.
Mix all of those ingredients together until everything for your blackberry banana protein oatmeal is incorporated. I like to use a fork to do this so that I can mash in the banana while mixing.
Did you know that flaxseed meal is a great cheap source of healthy fats, fiber, and protein?
Finish with lightly mixing in 1/2 cup of fresh blackberries.
Wash this protein oatmeal down with a Blackberry Vanilla Protein Shake!
