The Best Green Energy Smoothie

Are you looking for an easy, healthy, quick, and delicious way to start your day? Try The Best Green Energy Smoothie recipe ever! This high protein smoothie is low carb, keto friendly, and takes just a few ingredients to make.

For this green energy smoothie recipe you’re going to need a blender. Any blender should work as long as it can shred through greens and ice.

Take out your blender and add into it 3/4 cup of milk or milk substitute, 1 cup of washed greens (I used kale today), 3/4 cup of green tea, 1 banana, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 1/2 scoops of a vanilla protein powder, 1/2 tablespoon of melted coconut oil, and 1 cup of ice.

Pick your best tasting protein powder! Does it have to be vanilla? No, that’s just my preference when paired with the rest of the ingredients in this recipe. Use salted caramel, chocolate, or anything else you want if you think you’ll like it!

Why green tea? Green tea has 30-50mg of caffeine per cup which means this green energy smoothie is going to give you a nice morning BOOST!

Blend everything together until smooth and pour!

Green Energy Smoothie Tips

  • Make your green tea in bulk so that it’s always ready to go when you need it
  • Keep whatever you don’t finish in the fridge or make multiple servings
  • Use frozen greens/banana and less ice

I’ve transformed my body, something I never thought I’d get around to doing, with your simple and delicious recipes. I’m an ectomorph, and struggle to strike that balance between easy/quick and actually enjoyable when it comes to cooking at home. THANK YOU SO MUCH <3
